Data Analyst

OVERVIEW

Job Description:

The Data Analyst daily activities may include but are not limited to: data cleansing, data visualization (Power Bi), logistics network analytics, scripting (Python), updating and maintaining customer reviews, and more.

This individual should be able to manipulate, analyze, and visualize large datasets to draw meaningful conclusions in an organized and process-driven manner. The analyst would work closely with key stakeholders on projects to ensure the desired output is accomplished in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Duties will include:

  • Analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations
  • Utilize various tools such as Power BI and Python to process and visualize large amounts of data
  • Developing and maintaining customer reviews for sales team presentations
  • Transportation modeling/solutions development experience
  • Transportation metrics & data visualization
  • Ability to analyze transportation data for optimization opportunities, dedicated route design and strategic network analysis
  • Collect data and perform statistical analysis on current and potential client shipping data to identify efficiency and cost saving strategies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Must be highly proficient in the use the Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, extraction, and more)
  • Prior experience or interest in learning Microsoft Power BI required
  • 1+ years Python experience preferred
  • Experience with SQL & Pandas is not required but considered a plus
  • Results oriented
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills and a willingness to continually learn and develop
