Summary of essential job functions:

• Daily phone/email/in-person interactions with FWGS Sales Team, outside service providers (P44 & SMC3), and internal IT and operational staffing
• Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of FWGS LTL Transportation Management System (Pipeline & Pangea)
• Creation of billable, actual, and benchmarking profiles in the TMS
• Setting up new accounts, products, locations, users, reporting in the TMS
• Maintaining all pricing profiles: customer specific and blanket
• Maintaining carrier specific tariffs
• Preparation of FWGS Sales Team and customer deliverables Support TMS needs for all divisions of FWGS
• Documentation and cleansing of data in preparation for analysis
• Data analysis, benchmarking modeling using TMS and other tools, including MS Power BI
• Preparation of FWGS Sales Team and customer deliverable such as RFP responses, Saving Assessments, Proposal Documents, Transportation Service Agreements, Letters of Authorization, Vendor Letters, Ad Hoc requests
• Preparation of carrier bid documents and securing approval for distribution to carriers
• Negotiate all LTL related pricing agreements and procurement activities
• Impact analysis of carrier bid proposals to determine savings and margin potential for each opportunity
• Serve as a liaison between the carrier, AP and other businesses units when escalation is needed
• Continuous review of carrier performance
• Creating and running customer reporting in conjunction with analytics team
• Quarterly & Monthly Business review reporting
• Communicate all industry/carrier news to operational teams
• Use of Class IT System and Microsoft Suite of products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• PC Proficient (Microsoft Office preferred), strong Excel skill required, Power BI skills recommended
• Outstanding communications skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated negotiation skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
• Minimum 3 year’s experience in LTL or 3PL industry
• Minimum 3 year’s experience (relative) in LTL Carrier pricing
• Minimum 2 year’s supervisory experience
