Duties & Responsibilities:

• Leadership of supervisor, dispatch, and labor roles, and direct management of terminal staff activity, scheduling, and job assignments
• Plan, implement, and oversee the work of staff member to ensure efficiency and compliance
• Monitor and direct all dispatching activities, including tracking, routing, and dispatching transportation vehicles
• Implement changes to daily processes and procedures, policies, or scheduling as needed
• Coach team members to develop talent
• Produce high levels of service, including on-time pickup, and dock handling
• Produce high levels of productivity and optimal levels of labor spend
• Support of ongoing and as-needed operational terminal solutions for all Flat World Global Solutions service offerings, including Flat World’s domestic solutions, freight forwarding solutions, and project management solutions

Skills / Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of experience in LTL Operations or comparable leadership role preferred
• Experience in RV industry specifically in replacement parts division preferred
• Customer-centric approach with a dedication to excellence in both external and internal customer experience and business performances
• Experience in leading labor and administrative personnel, directing operational activity and assigning tasks
• Experience in managing cross dock operational processes, and tack record reflecting customer centric approach to those processes
• Ability to professional communicate through phone, email, and directly as required
• Ability to utilize both dispatch, route building, and transportation management software applications, as well as basic Microsoft application’s such as Outlook, Word and Excel
• Proven ability to work collaboratively to uncover mutual success, and support excellence for our organization, and customer base
• Light travel 5-10% of the time may be required
