To our trusted employees, partners, clients, and friends:

All of us at Flat World sincerely hope that you and your families remain healthy as Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) continues to spread. In alignment with Flat World’s culture of Excellence for our clients, to each other, and in the community, the health and safety of all is of utmost importance!

With the expansion of stay-at-home/shelter-at-home orders issued from state governments, we want to confirm Flat World’s continued support as an essential critical infrastructure provider.

On March 19th, the United States Department of Homeland Security issued a memorandum identifying Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers during the COVID-19 Response. Transportation and Logistics providers were identified by the DHS in that memo as Essential Critical, as are their workers. A link to that memo can be found here.

While each state’s executive orders have been distinct in issuance and length of term, they have followed these same guidelines and identify Transportation and Logistics Providers and their workers as essential and critical.

Please note that Flat World will continue to provide our transportation, logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, and crating services throughout this critical time. Where appropriate, our team members are working remotely providing our international and domestic operational support:

— Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage teams are fully operational with shipment management, customs and government clearances, releases and ongoing dispatch.

— Domestic Operation team are fully operational with shipment execution, management, processing, dispatch, customer service and audit functions.

— Staff rotation at our warehousing operations in St Louis, Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta are keeping us fully operational and processing orders daily.

Our clients’ and team member’s health, safety, and businesses are at the forefront of our concerns, and we will do everything possible to deliver a best-in-class experience during this time. We continue to monitor the ongoing situation and will provide regular updates, should changes to our operation be needed.

Should you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out directly to us. We are all in this together, and determined to stay safe, stay healthy, and stay excellent.
