2021 has been a year of numerous achievements for the Flat World team, and we’re thrilled to share two more.
This fall, Flat World made two St. Louis Business Journal lists: St. Charles County’s Largest Businesses and St. Louis’ Top 150 Privately Held Companies.
Flat World landed at number seven on the list of St. Charles businesses, and at number 124 on the list of St. Louis’ largest privately held companies—up from number 133 the year before. While size is just one aspect of evaluating a company, we’re proud of our growth as we continue to serve customers both in the St. Louis region and around the globe.
We believe our success can be attributed to two factors. The first is a continued investment in growing our services and capabilities, from expanding our truckload brokerage division to increasing our geographic footprints in our Atlanta, St. Louis, Dallas and Chicago warehouses. The second has been our team’s ability to pivot and find solutions for customers facing supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic. Businesses have had a growing need for partners that can help them be more productive and efficient, and we’re thrilled to provide that support.
“These recognitions validate that our commitment to delivering excellence—for clients, to each other and in our community—pays off,” said Brian Wenck, Flat World CEO. “Being included on these lists is an honor and we’re excited about what the future holds for Flat World and our customers.”
A big thank you to all of the Flat World team members and customers who have been a part of our company success, and here’s to even more successes in 2022!
