Flat World Family Raises Nearly $10,000 for Grant Me Hope

Posted On October 28, 2016

Flat World Holdings is proud to announce that 77 of our employees and extended family raised nearly $10,000 for Grant Me Hope, an organization that uses marketing strategies to help children within the foster-care system find an adoptive family. The organization focuses specifically on children who have experienced challenges finding a permanent home.

This year Flat World Holdings and their employees have made charitable giving a priority. Earlier in the year the team raised money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, sending two children to Disney World. That experience inspired employees to organize the company’s fall charitable campaign, once again focusing on the most vulnerable members of our society: children. And thanks to contributions from Whirlpool Corporation, Tour Edge Golf, The Abbey Resort, and the employees, friends, and family of Flat World Holdings, Grant Me Hope will have additional financial resources to fund their effort to help some really wonderful children find a home.

“Myself, Jeff, and our entire management team are incredibly proud that our employees have made charitable giving a priority,” said Kirk Ferrell, Flat World Holdings, LLC Co-Founder and Managing Partner. “We are proud of our growth, we’re proud of how we serve our customers, but most of all we are really proud of the people on this team. They set an exceptional standard of thoughtfulness, generosity, and dedication. It’s a special thing to see, and a special thing to be a part of.”
